The purpose of the document is to specify the functional requirements of a LXCP12 series switching power supply.

    AC Leakage Current:

    Normal status,the Max. contacted current is less than 0.1mA when input voltage is 264Vac.

    Single fault status,the Max. contacted current is less than 0.5mA when input voltage is 264Vac.

    Ripple and Noise

    Under nominal voltage and rated load, the ripple and noise are less than 200mVp-p when measure with Max. Bandwidth of 20MHz and parallel 10uF electrolytic capacitor + 0.1uF ceramic capacitor, connected at testing point.(Output power >6W series)

    Under nominal voltage and rated load, the ripple and noise are less than 100mVp-p when measure with Max. Bandwidth of 20MHz and parallel 10uF electrolytic capacitor + 0.1uF ceramic capacitor, connected at testing point.(Output power ≤6W series)

    Hold Up Time:

    5 ms Min.at 115Vac input and output rated Load.

    Efficiency:

    70% Min. at 115/230Vac input voltage, rated load.

    Protection Function

    Short circuit test

    The power supply will be automaticly recovering when the short circuit faults removed.

    Over current Protection

    The power supply will be protected when the output current reaches 110% to 200% of the rated current. Once the overcurrent fault is resolved, the power supply will automatically recover.

    Over Voltage Protection

    The power supply will shut down when the output voltage reaches its over-voltage condition trigger point. Once the fault condition is resolved, the power supply will automatically recover. The overvoltage protection function is integrated into the PWM IC of the power supply.

    Over temperature protection

    The power supply will enter a stop mode if the IC's temperature exceeds its trigger point. It will automatically recover when the IC temperature falls below the regulation value.

    Dropping Packed

    As previously mentioned, the wall mount type requires a 1m distance, while the desktop type requires a 760mm distance.

    The horizontal surface should be constructed with hardwood at least 13mm thick, mounted on two layers of plywood, and positioned 19mm to 20mm away from the edge.

    MTBF

    The power supply shall have a minimum predicted MTBF(MIL-STD-217F) of 100000 hours at normal operation condition and normal use.
